Phoenix Pick Catalogue – Olive sent me this link yesterday. It’s always good to find another science fiction e-book website. If you sign up with the website, they offer a free e-book download about every month. It’s too bad I’m already so far behind in my reading. Hopefully, Santa will bring me a Kindle Touch for Christmas.

Kathy’s new notebook computer – I don’t have the exact Dell model so I can’t link to it here. However, it looks like the next couple of months are filled with everyone’s new toys.

July 17, 2011Win7′s no-reformat, nondestructive reinstall – Olive sent me this article from the Windows Secrets newsletter written by Fred Langa. It’s actually very good information since reinstalling Windows from scratch can be a real pain.
I remember reading Fred’s articles way back when there was a Windows magazine. He’s someone you can trust.

ViewSonic gTablet – Well, it had to happen. Olive has purchased a new toy. It’s too bad I (Bob) won’t be there. I’ve always been interested in the Android-based tablets to see how well they worked.
Hopefully, everyone else can make it!
Update: Olive had to send the tablet back to Viewsonic. Therefore, she won’t be able to show the tablet this evening. However, she’ll be able to share her impressions of the tablet while she had it. She also can share her frustration on having to send back the tablet so soon.
